2009 will be a dismal harvest for the world even assuming normal weather ... lots of deficient crops given the inventories of fertilizer left unsold around the world and lots of marginal land unable to attract a funding base to even consider buying adequate inputs. You aren't reading anything about this in the mainstream media but it is a serious concern.
