When somebody can yell out, God is great (Allah akbar) as they fire a rocket to kill indiscriminately, or as they cut a throat, you realise that religion can develop many differing extremes of zealot.

The entry level zealot makes the claim that their religion alone is the only true religion. A level two zealot is prepared to teach as fact Scriptural stories as if they were literal, tossing out scientific proof in the mean time. The level three zealot has no problem smashing families when a difference of opinion arises.

The worst of all zealots are the ones who are wolves in sheep's clothing so they can prey on children for their twisted sexual gratification.
