Mr Gordon, I do believe you mean well. I'm sure you are a good-hearted fellow, but you have a Christian-centric view that blinds you to the entire purpose of Scripture and Christ Himself.

The Bible is deeply confusing and it has most of Christendom tripping over their own feet. I have dug up a number of conflicting lines of Scripture to show you that you can't take a line of Scripture and declare anything with absolute certainty.

Christ is not the Creator, was not the vessel of Creation, nor the first thing God Created. Christ is not unique in the sense that there have been many other Messengers, Prophets, Teachers, etc. If Jesus was the only Teacher then God would be a bigoted, unjust Creator and unworthy of any respect from His subjects. He is not. The world is full of religions that were revealed to suit the time, the place and the receptivity of the audience.

Philippians 2:9/11 Is specifically about Christ. It's not about to write you a complete treatise and try to explain to you that the very same thing is said of Krishna, Zoroaster and many other Prophets in their writings. If you keep your head stuck in the Bible you only know about Christ and it's impossible to believe that other religions have their own Christ.

Acts 4:12 is exactly what was said about all the other Prophets of other religions. These Prophets see themselves as a single entity, serving a single will, so there was no need to expand on this any further.

“. . . Christ Jesus: . . . thought it not robbery to be equal with God:” (Philippians 2:5-6).

Christ declared, “…my Father is greater than I” (John 14:28).

Christ proclaimed, “I and my Father are one” (John 10:30).

Christ questioned, “. . . Why callest thou me good? there is none good but one, that is, God: . . .” (Matthew 19:17).

“Jesus saith … he that hath seen me hath seen the Father . . .” (John 14:9).

“No man hath seen God at any time . . .” (John 1:18).

“In the beginning was the Word, . . . and the Word was God. . . . And the Word was made flesh, and dwelt among us . . .” (John 1:1, 14).

“For in him dwelleth all the fulness of the Godhead bodily” (Colossians 2:9).

“But will God indeed dwell on the earth? behold, the heaven and heaven of heavens cannot contain thee; how much less this house that I have builded?” (1 Kings 8:27).
