Why 8 months. I would think lifetime immunity would be the result of a naturally acquired infection. Even a vaccine should give the best part of a decade protection. The problem with viruses is they mutate and are no longer covered by the vaccine protection, depending on which ptn the vaccine is based on. I dont know to what extent the Covid virus can mutate to evade vaccine effect but 8 months seems an odd figure to me. Perhaps you could explain.
