People are allowed to sit in depth with their shares if they choose to - esp. with a stock like IMI that has a huge amount of depth. If people thought this stock was so great, they would snap up those 5mill sells, afterall, they are worth less than $100k each - chickenfeed.
If people are worried about a couple of sells worth $100k in the depth, give up on the sharemarket. If people are basing their buying and selling choices on the market depth, they'll lose all their money VERY quickly. People seem to forget that the potential buyers and sellers not in the depth are much vaster than those sitting in the depth.
Maybe a few could teach the sellers a lesson and buy the 2*5mill parcels - then the seller will need to buy them back, probably at a higher price, or maybe the seller really did want to sell
