Is not the "perceived" value - the expectation/hope that the value of CDU shares would have been in excess of $6.50 by the exercise date? There is a lock in ceiling price of $6.50 with no requirement to pay a cent up until exercise date.
All good if CDU is $7.50. However 'no value'or should I say profit value if the price is less. Hutch still has to cough up the $6.50 per share, they are not a gift.
Not sure where you are coming from saying they had a genuine value of $10m when the share price has been beneath $6.50 in that time.
Genuinely appreciate your feedback on what I am missing.
