Launched on May 31st 2024 the LRC was supposed to help:
- Advanced lithium extraction technologies for clay and brine
- Be the Pilot Plant for the Big Sandy lithium project
- Offer a service to small lithium companies in the U.S to test their ore/brine in exchange for giving up equity (sounds like a great deal for them, Paulo)
Result after one year:
- "There have been no innovations in clay extraction, Big Sandy will use sulfuric acid leech process" - Paul
- Legal action halted drilling and possibly testing of the Big Sandy Ore. Big Sandy ore sitting in storage at the LRC.
- Selected Koch Industries DLE (every other DLE brine project that selected Koch did not invest 6 million into an LRC)
- ZERO customers for the brine testing for equity exchange program (Big surprise)
