I am yet to see this story in a reputable paper, so I am assuming it is mostly garbage. To the extent that it is true, it sounds like a great move - at least it is Rugby League - a game that is played internationally - and we already have the Kiwis on side. As we know the LNP have neglected the Pacific Islands both in terms of Foreign Aid, and Diplomacy
At least it might help the Pacific Islanders forget Dutton joking about water lapping up at their feet ?
