Hey Scottie, I lean towards thinking that our immigration is partly to blame for the decline in real wages as it results in more supply of labour and if that labour is coming from non-western countries it makes matters worse.
The massive influx of Indians is an example but don't shoot the messenger. We all know many of them are working cash jobs as are middle eastern migrants, including my barber!
