I'm a big supporter of the ABC, as long as it delivers for the mainstream, however I'm being increasingly convinced that it is staffed by sociology students intent on lecturing us on all the social evils bought about by white society, racism, sexism, discrimination , disadvantage et al, and is delivering less information that would be useful to the bulk of us.
We don't need social lectures, we need to know about things like education, health, jobs, the products we buy, the services we are provided , the economy and how we can improve our lives.
If the ABC wants to know why viewers are turning off, they should get out of their comfortable couches and onto the streets and ask people what they really want to know.
