About 1/3 was kidnapped, the ratio in WA is the highest, about 50% of aboriginals today are related to the Stolen Generation.It ia highly offensive to someone who never knew their parents because they were kidnapped as a child, and being told to "just forget about it and move on".
Its similar to someone telling a surviving Jew whose parents perished in Holocaust to just forget about it and move on.
