Australian aboriginals migrated to Australia from the north via land bridges and short stretches of water[during a cold period in earths history] 30,000 years ago. So they are migrants themselves although most would not accept that fact.
They need to look at themselves and compare their achievements with other more recent migrants. They should come to the conclusion that intermarriage between various races has given certain groups a distinct advantage. Anglo Saxons are the best example. They are a result of wars, invasions, intermarriage etc. Out of this came an intelligent group that was able to conquer the world and spread their language and intellect to all points of the globe. Their strength is only now being challenged by China and India, but these challengers have ideological and religious weaknesses which bring them undone.
So with 450,000 yearly migrant intake planned, Aus aboriginals have possibly left it too late to upgrade themselves. The human race is all about survival and they do not have much time for those pushing in the other direction.
Many other races have disappeared in the past with less concern, so the path ahead is well documented for those that wish to do something positive about their situation.
