Why not a fairer system where we ask the unaborted child when he/she turns 30 whether he/she agrees they should have been aborted to suit the mothers wishes. If they then agree the mother can kill them with impunity, but only by their own hand, not through some paid individual like an abortionistexecutioner.
A good number might agree (if disturbed enough by their mothers indifference) but very few of even the mothers selfish enough to carry out the "delayed - abortion" were given the chance 30 and a bit years after the pregnancy was reviewed would do so.
To have this discussion without mentioning the opinions of the elephant in the room, ie the Creator God, feels a bit unnatural but I hope it will help committed atheists to see another perspective.
People are free to believe what they want but unborn children have rights.
The only time killing is warranted us when it is kill or be killed (self-defence) or in service of a democratically elected government.
