Maan the redom is very tax advantageous as the RNS states. If you check with ATO is will show SLV will save around $18M on a $60M G.P. this will add to the SP, potentially 20 cents. Bermuda company tax? Nil...I think?
SLV states that they are keeping the ASX listing which is a positive, but if they dont you should not sell based on that alone because the ozzie dollar is the strongest for near 20 years. I believe it?s only likely to weaken as the UKX raises interest rates in 2011. So if they move to UK it?s likely to make a currency gain of 20% on top of any share price increase.
So out in the cold or kept in the warm? Then again, last time SLV was relocating off ASX there was massive selling. All good to consider.
