The age of gas

'The Directors of Saracen Mineral Holdings Limited (ASX: SAR) ("Saracen" or the "Company") are pleased to announce that it has secured an agreement with Kleenheat Gas’ EVOL LNG division for the supply of 7,000 tonnes per annum of liquefied natural gas (LNG) to Saracen’s Carosue Dam Operations (CDO). The supply is due to commence from January 2015.'

When the sharks finally finish from feeding on our share price and move on to the next tank, let's not forget what our company is all about; supplying gas to a world that is increasingly demanding more and more of it. Saracen say in their ann they are making the switch to gas from diesel for economic and environmental reasons. At 7,000 tonnes a year let's hope many more companies follow suit.
