It is not clear to me just how much the parent owns and the other entities. It is not certain just how insulated the debts are from the parent.

I do recall some many years ago Metals Ex with its Greenvale Nickel mine incurred massive debts in a subsidiary and were not secured by the parent,banks and lenders lost some $200m,MEX the listed entity went on for a long future. Very few people realized this at the time and one picked up many shares at 2c to see them back at $4.00 a year later...
