I have never voted Green but am mindful that The Greens

for all the flak they receive from the conservative right

are a party endowed with members who are in the main

well educated and realise that the health of the planet

is the issue most important to the wellbeing of the human

race and life in general.

They also have shown they know how to negotiate and

when to compromise and came out the clear winners

along with our grower farmers in the back packer debacle.

The GREENS so wily, so smart they were able to negotiate a

deal that basically saved our fruit, veg and horticultural farmers

as well as achieving a big win for the environment by convincing

the govt to allocate $100million to Landcare.

Dr Richard Di Natale and his team can hold their heads high as they

have shown their mettle and responsibly saved the day for our rural sector.

The GREENS are about long term sustainability of the planet and we need their

contribution so as to prevent govt’s from making irresponsible short term

decisions that could cause future catastrophic consequences for our planet.

The agile innovative intelligent Greens showed why their support base tend

to be professional well educated people. You know the ones stupidly described

by some here as the latte set.

They held the democratically elected govt to ransom for 100 million$, money that the tax payers will have to fork out, hardly mindful and helpful to our farmers, more like gouging tax payers because they could..
