Yes, words do matter - and, IMO - it is amazing how one can put on a show with motherhood statements and then be acknowledged for giving a good speech - without many asking - what did he mean by that???????????

last night the dow moved because it partly liked Mr Trumps 'tone'.

Well - have a listen and a think to somethings he said ---------- one of which was (paraphrasing)

'We are going to make it easier for business to come to the USA and harder for it to leave'

Arrh - run that by me again would you?

What would it possibly mean -- 'harder to leave?'

His whole idea is to stop industry sending jobs overseas --------- yes, easy - sounds good.

    But, what does it mean?

It means that he is going to make it harder for companies to use foreign labour - and, in the same breath he says he wants to raise the wages of Americans

now - one doesn't need a white cane and a dog to see that - what that really means IF he can do it - is higher wage costs for American business

should that put the dow up?????????

should that make American industry happy?

Clearly - anything like that HAS to be BAD for business - unless business is heavily compensated for such cost blowouts -

which means ------------ much lower corporate taxes.

Which means ---------------- who is going to make up for that loss of tax ---- ?

Who is left standing to pay?

Good speech Mr President ------------- I hope no one starts to ask you exactly what you meant or how you intend to fill the motherhood statements -

if you think that health care is complicated ------------- well, wait until you see how an economy reacts to being fiddled with (who would think that a nations economics would be so complicated eh? )

Now - add to that lot a 10% increase in military - supposedly paid for by cuts to other agencies - like the FDA (hello to the next thalidomide crisis - here we come)

and, a HUGE bill for infrastructure upgrades --------------- which will HAVE to be paid for (from the gov. side) by - a HUGE debt increase (which will blow your little 12 billion drop out of the water) -

and, what we have is that the reality - the actuality - will not within a bulls roar match what the lovely words in the speech mean.

No matter how many times your republicans stand up and clap

their applause will be lost in a massive tide of debt, poverty and waste.

    good one
