    Anything the Government so desires.

Given that there are two sides in Parliament, and that you are incredibly scathing about one of them - I mean you really put almost nothing beyond the side that you don't support - and that they regularly change sides so that the one you don't like will inevitably regain control of Parliament again, and that when they do the Captain of the ship is very likely to be on your 'worst people going round for like ever' list along with virtually all of the Captains of that side on your list this century, I would have thought a considered thinker like you would be shitting bricks at how easily the misinformation legislation will be able to be misused as is.

Once the Government gain the ability to control the narrative with this legislation, do you honestly expect even the nice ones not to tweak it to make it easier to control the message?

And who is it supposed to protect? Bleach drinkers? Really? Stop that dude from burning down a telco tower? Really? Giving our right to freedom of expression and differing opinions away to stop 4 people over a decade from doing criminally mental stuff? Really? You think because one rabid dog chases a stray cat up the road that our entire society should be chained to the clothesline?

Legislation like this is how the end begins, Scott.
