The real chestnut in this band aid solution is the curfew cannot be enacted on Aboriginal land. So Wadeye has been a war zone for decades, regularly flaring up with Tribal payback/violence, people killed, tons of housing burnt to the ground and numerous assaults on healthcare workers and teachers. Can't enforce curfew. Seems different laws for different ancestry. Not hard to join the dots where this is headed.
