Personally, I don't think there is anything to worry about here. The deal is obviously not 100% done but likely to be shortly. They either go down the PSF route of saying "deal to be concluded in next few days" or go into TH on the basis the deal will be done by the time trading re-commences.
I was amazed at the facebook update but giving them the benefit of the doubt they weren't saying anything which wasn't already out there from previous announcements. Possibly they are covering their arses by going into TH. As other posters have stated, TH is not Alex's usual MO.
