The answers?? I don't profress to having them all....but we could start by each and every one of us considering the problem, and trying in our own way to make a difference....it need not be money, it may be as simple as writing a letter to your local MP and asking him in what way is the Australian government aiding (in saying that I do realise that the Australian Government in generous in it's aids programs).....or perhaps for leaders of this world who readily slap sanctions on other countries to threaten to do the same with these countries in Africa, or to sanction the countries or blacklist companies who accept these misdirected dollars for weaponry and alike.....
Maybe organisations like the EU or the USA could donate surplus grains and crops to those in need, as opposed to dumping excess for fear of collapsing markets....
And do you give just money which can be readily be spent on the wrong thing....or do you give equipment or expertise or knowledge.
And even in a worst case scenario, where nothing can be done about corrupt governments and alike, does that still mean that we turn our back on those that need us most....do we then just leave them to their fate and wash our hands of it?
There is no one magic bullet I suspect....it needs to be a combination of many things.
All that said there has been far greater obstacles that man has overcome when he has had the desire to do so....really the only problem here is that that desire, to love each other as we should, is not there....if we had that, most of the problems we face would not exist and would never have had.
