This is my view from reading and watching what is going on.
the protesters won't stop and they won't change their minds.
Give the protesters hope that they are winning and it will only encourage more to join. They don't want gas production plain and simple and they aren't going to go away anytime soon.
the only way to deal with this is for the government and "natural gas" companies to go on the offensive.
Issue the licenses and start drilling and producing. Let the police deal with any unlawful protests.
The government need the gas and the money from gas they have already said this, so its time to get things moving as quickly as possible.
