    The ORC cycles work best on low temperature sources, if I recall correctly typically 120 deg C, hence for high temperature sources they are only used as a secondary cycle.

    I believe you can use cascade ORC systems direct from high temperatures, but not aware of any being used. Probably because the cost involved in a primary flash steam cycle is so much cheaper than an ORC (or Kalina) for extracting the higher grade energy.

    I am not knocking GDY, they may advance the technology more than PTR ever does, however I am investing in PTR largely because I believe they are more focussed on the economics (and much lower capitalisation). My view may change as these companies progress.

    I did get PTR in the float, but sold all but 20,000. Bought some more recently.

    Anyway good luck with your choice, they are all speculative at this stage.
