You can't help but think the shorter game and the money that the players earn from it is changing the face of cricket. I for one love the ultimate challenge of a test match, bat against ball session after session. The tactics that captains have to employ to graft the next wicket. The stamina and determination displayed by both batters and bowlers day after day. Wonderful stuff, especially when both teams are evenly matched. I hope test match cricket survives to entertain generations to come. Can't help thinking though that a lot of the courage and grit has left the game.
