I remember stokes taking the ball to the umpires more than once in this series. It may well have been out of shape- but that doesnt mean you change it for a ball that has been machine polished with one of broads headbands covered in goose fat.
Having said that- who have thought there'd be a box of balls built for the fourth innings of an ashes with australia looking to rain on Broads retirement parade?
