My thoughts on SRT ? how much was it valued at pre- acq?
3c became ridiculous without knowing the details.
as it turns out, the expectations of 10-20c based of a comment of a director at AGM, was probably in a 3-5 year time frame, all going to plan. The hype to support 3c, had to view that 10c was within 3-6 months or why else take that risk on.? (there is enough risk in the RTO process , yet alone the acquisition delivering on its business model)
Post deflating, the assumption of 40m NPAT is for a 3 year period, and might expect the third year to have 15-20m NPAT, which might support the 10c suggestion. Note, that is still un-risked pricing of 10c, and no guarantees of the business model.
Moral would be to get in early at well under say 5-6m, and get out if it becomes unrealistic before details are known.
Then re-evaluate.
