The new ASX rules aren't ideal in establishing a fair price.
But at the same time just because the SP can't run, it shouldn't be assumed that an entity has to raise at the last quoted price (seriously, why would they have to?!?).
The principle of supply and demand kicks in.
WAC (now NUH) being an example of CR at a premium (whilst in its own suspension for a different reason).
It'll show the importance of getting the book-build right.
The biggest issue for me in the new rules (besides the obvious getting caught with a dud acqua) is holding a position that is technically out-of-the-money due to consolidation. Adjust one's strategy accordingly.
