I'm still surprised PVL is not getting more interest given its valuation and recent management appointments after a long overdue clean out.
Tiny $5.5m market cap trading at $1m discount to cash and investments. Debt free and very tightly held with only 64m SOI.
New directors & investment committee members include a former Golden Sachs partner who won fund manager of the year, an 5 year CSIRO exec, a substantial shareholder so finally Board has some skin in the game, and the new MD has over an 20 year career - most recently with one of Europe's largest and oldest PE funds.
All have agreed to take shares as part of their salary packages.
