After you said that, that got me thinking. Your intel on the fact they were drilling north of Boort Mitiamo rd means that as foretold by the geological maps the strike distance is going further north, so much so, the company thinks it's worth diamond drilling? and is drilling it?
I checked a later announcement and found a more recent 2020 map of the prospect. -see below: ASX:CHN 29/01/2020
Now we have potentially two new massive announcements incoming:
1) High grade gold hits, and
2) Strike length increased (further north)
A conclusion can be made from vogliobene's great field work, the shareholders just uncovered the fact that the company is potentially going to tell us that Karri just got "bigger". The important part about this is what the managing director alluded to earlier: "There is the footprint of Karri on the right there, as you can see it's about a 4km long aircore gold trend, now what's important about that is, a 4km anomaly is fairly similar to what the footprint would be for Fosterville, so what we are really looking for is, really large anomalies that have the same properties that Fosterville have that by coincident have gold, arsenic and antimony." -Tim Markwell, Managing director of ASX:FAL, Nov 4, 2021, https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Zm7nYEptSqU
-Figure from ASX:CHN 29/01/2020, " Quarterly Activities Report and Cashflow Report".
-Figure of the Karri prospect (Bouger Gravity image) adapted from ASX:FAL, "Investor Presentation", 09/02/2022, 59456090 scaled, and superimposed onto the approximate location in Google Maps 2022.
I scaled the Bouger Gravity image to the same scale as Google Maps, it is actually 40% bigger than previously posted (60342607).
The other fascinating thing about their drilling plan (if going further north) is that usually if you find a prospect you start to concentrate on defining the ore body, but they are so confident that they are increasing the prospect area before narrowing down the ore body. They must think this is potentially a monster prospect. It makes sense now that they did the spin off before they potentially make the "resource discovery", as they probably want to maximise the profits.
Tim talks about how the spacing of the diamond core drill lines are very wide, leaving the opportunity to narrow down the potential ore bodies: "You will see there that there are some drill lines there on the right that they are 1km spaced drill lines which are still very wide spacing for diamond drilling. And to get results at the magnitude of 5m at 14[g/t] including 2m of over 30grams[/t], is a very promising sign". -Tim Markwell, Managing director of ASX:FAL, Nov 4, 2021, https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Zm7nYEptSqU
