you are saying that we wont get over this for in four years time and the US will get over it 7 years

according to Wikipaedia

so lets say it started in the crash of Oct29, 1929

so we are look at a little over 2 years and four years

Lets assume this started in 2007, if the time to recovery is between 2 and 4 years the dates are late 2009 and early 2011 at the latest.

in short six months and one and half years.
