Let's summarise what has happened here:

We, the shareholders, have suggested that the directors of BTV have underperformed, and have made some very poor strategic choices. They have taken free options, wages, travel perks, whilst being unable to find an investment in 12 months. They are sitting on cash in a market where bargains abound and yet they seem incapable of finding opportunities. They have failed to deliver shareholder value, over a long period.

So we, the shareholders, have DARED to suggest that capital would be better returned to the shareholders.

Clearly, such as suggestion threatens the directors.

Now as the directors don't have a right of reply on hot copper, what do they do instead? Have a third party try to discredit their critics? (It takes the attention off their own lack of performance.)


Next thing, Ologist (a geologist), pops up and starts some personal sttacks. He posts rarely on hc, ONLY and EXCLUSIVELY comments on shares run by BTV directors (BTV, THR, TNG), and ALL his posts are pro the directors.

- When questioned about his relationship with the directors, he refuses to answer. Little wonder...

- He is not interested in discussing any of the issues of BTV's, or associated companies', underperformances. Because why would he want to? It doesn't make good reading.

- He suggests that everything on hc is 'dribble' (quite insulting to all the small shareholders who get value from this democratic forum), but makes an exception to join in.

- He boasts how he has made 'lots of money' by being a long term holder of BTV, THR and TNG?

- And suggested THR was a BUY sentiment at over 25 cents. It is now 2 cents.


Where do you think this not-very-well-disguised character attack from Ologist has come from? He is NOT an independent investor. He is NOT an interested party. He is a friend and colleague of the Directors. And possibly posting at their behest.


I encourage all of you to review his short, but VERY revealing, posting history on hc, and draw your own conclusions as to his purpose, his objectivity, and his motives.

The Directors DO NOT WANT TO HAVE A RETURN OF CAPITAL. And they will do EVERYTHING in their power to try to avoid it.


Well, it will not help. There has already been an overwhelming response privately, and I encourage anyone who has not yet made contact to do so.
