I'm not quite sure how anyone could see a split being of any benefit to current shareholders (besides the SIs of course).
Management talk about substantial funds being needed, so initial dilution could be horrible.
Then you have to consider the options; if the PhIII trial is successful and 60 day VWAP post IPO was 30c, for example; then another big chunk of dilutionary crap hits us for only a small amount of money compared to what could be raised at prevailing prices.
Then there's the cost of the whole thing. What's the point?
Not having a financial background, I am unsure about any accounting/tax benefits if there are any.
We've already been smashed by massive dilution, now they are trying to further water down shareholders' chance for a big pay-off.
That said; I don't think we are gonna have a say in it.
