Thanks guys - appreciate the info. I've never been a shareholder in a takeover situation before and somebody had commented yesterday that they thought the 57 cents ONLY applied to those holding at the time of y/day's announcement, so I wanted clarification - which you've now provided.

Apologies for asking a stupid question - but I'm sure I'm not the only one on here who has done that once or twice!
