    The classification of subs as "Attack" or defensive is a complete furphy - it is their capabilities that are important. For anyone that is interested I suggest that you have a look / research the capabilities of nuclear powered subs.

    There are some excellent vids on youtube. A nuclear sub has just returned to Britain after over 170 days under water.

    We have had numerous debates on Australia's requirements, whether we can afford them etc. History repeats.
