Expected Australia to support it's wars against other countries including Iraq, Iran, Russia, ... . Built spy bases and military bases on Australian soil to act as forward operations in the event of any conflict to protect the 'Motherland'. . Exploited trading opportunities with our major trading partners - as the USA did after Morrison bombastically abused China, almost severing our major trade relationship.
Please also detail what the USA has done since the end of WW2 to protect Australia - as against projecting its own power, increasing its own wealth and trade opportunities throughout the World.
There was a time when the USA was the most important factor in promoting democratic values including peace throughout the world. That time has long since passed as the USA now violates the same democratic values, institutions and processes it worked so hard to establish. Indeed; it even promotes the massacre of its own people just to appease its warmongering gun lobby.
