The FED has slashed interest rates overnight to 3.50% with futures showing a 74% chance of a further one next week. DOW currently down less than 100 points instead of the 650 futures had it at 5pm AEST yesterday.
European markets bounced back overnight so chances are the ASX is on for at the least a 4-5% rise today.
I'd say quite a good day to come out of a trading halt!
