I have spoken with the Domain guy as well this morning...yes I agree that he's smooth but what bankers aren't...I've got a few friends in the game and it's no surprise to me mate...that's why they're bankers!
Of note from my conversation is that he said (1) demand has been exceptional given the current state of the market, (2) the register is quality and it will be oversubsribed and the proof will be in the release of the top 20 and (3) General public applicants will most likely be scaled back to the minimum $2k application and best to submit multiple $2k applications if you want a larger line (ie. using kids names, wife, father....etc...)in other words yes they have a problem with achieving the 500 shareholder spread!
