WNH must be at or near 19.9% by now. If the buying continues next week, we have another player in the mix imo.
Opening offer for any take over must be what BHP paid for UMC or the equivalent to $9.20 per share. Still only $1.27 per tonne of recoverable ore in ground.
The key to what happens next is Ross Norgard's stand on this issue. As a 13% odd shareholder, his position is key to the long term outcome for ordinary shareholders.
WNH has very astutely built this stake in a pre-agreed move at around $3.11.
Anyone selling now, other than those required to by an ill-timed agreement are mugs imo.
The next few weeks will make compelling viewing imo.
