Well put... unfortunately for all involved this fish was fried from December 09 onwards with not one good or potential buy in position to date.

I've been asked in the past when using Microsoft Excel... is it better to understand formulas or macros (VBA)...

The answer was and still is; there are things formulas can do that macro's can not... and things macros can do that formulas can not.

Same thing applies to shares. Both technical and fundamental analysis offer different things and have their place in a picture... but when combined can offer a clearer picture overall.
