Our chief national weakness is that we do not have a long term economic plan to position our infrastructure, education,
    health, trade and security programs.
Instead all sides of politics believe in Neo Liberal Free Market hogwash and we leave it to these politicians to trash the
bourse, return sponsor favours and get re-elected whatever it takes and thump themselves on the back saying they provide superb leadership by following the market....not leading it.

We quibble about dual citizenship being a threat to our national security but we allow own our precious resources
to be owned by multinationals who pay diddly squat tax. Even our despised 3 rd world, Indonesia, has a COW
resources program which compels foreign owners of resource companies to divest at least 51% ownership to an
Indonesian entity within 12 years. Indonesia enjoys a 6% + P/A GDP growth and wouldn't we love that Muslims or no Muslims.

Perhaps we should employ Chinese, Japanese & Korean economists and political scientists to show us how its done
because by the look of things, we dont have the foggiest. Let's face it , we sell out/farm out about everything else to foreigners !

Just imagine if Korea had our natural resources !

Our politicians should be judged on their allegiance to Australia, not by the fact that they are single Aussie Citizens, but by the economic decisions they make while in office. Over the past few months, a reasonable person would not regards the sale of murray Goldburn to the Canadians & the sale of Channel 10 to the Yanks as been decisions in our national interest.
And that's only during the past few months for God's sake and at a time when the Commonwealth Liberal Government has been
at its weakest and do you think for one moment that either foreign entity will ever pay Aussie tax?

    Fair go eh?

    No worries,
    Moorookamick

PS: The Australian Defence Forces have a long term plan: its called a $300 billion spend of Taxpayers money over the next
15 years. Just imagine what this obscene amount of Taxpayer lollies could do in developing Aussie Owned industries to give our raw resources a secondary processing so hat we can add Aussie labour/add value to our exports , diversify trade and minimise
our economic addiction to Communist China which is , argueably our greatest economic and military threat. Instead our
so called Aussie Allegience pollies increase our economic dependance; evidence of which is Chinese Government backed
entities financing Adani as announced by the ABC yesterday.

What are we? And then we need to spend $300 billion of battlers tax over the next 15 years to protect ourselves from China.
If our politicians were dual Aussie/Irish Citizens we'd say that this is an Irish joke. MM
