I don't think anyone is doubting Dr. Behrenbruch is an academic, and certainly looks impressive at face value. However, here is another snippet from his website headed 'conflicts'.....these are his current interests/conflicts.....
- 12/10/2015 : Executive Director of Tissue Therapies Limited (ASX : TIS)
- 17/10/2015 : Children’s cord blood is stored with Cryosite (ASX : CTE)
- 23/10/2015 : Shareholding in Alchemia Limited (ASX : ACL)
Now, for someone who claims to be an expert in picking successful companies this is hardly an impressive list of companies to be involved with in terms of recent performance, in fact I think ACL is currently winding up.
So, what I'm saying is regardless of his academic achievements, he still gets it wrong on occasions, as everyone does. Now if I saw the likes of SRX or CSL on the conflicts list, or list of companies with a 100% success rate, I would say don't challenge this guys view, but it doesn't show that way.
All I'm saying is regardless of his achievements, he still gets it wrong on occasions and this may be one of those times.........but only time will tell!
