"Market talk suggests Origin Energy is considering a bid for Amaysim’s energy business, though Origin strongly denied suggestions it was bidding."

This together with yesterday's comments from the board on broadband ("Review of the broadband business driven by unsustainable wholesale costs imposed by the NBN") sounds like AYS would be split up into two: mobile goes to Singtel/Optus, energy to Origin Energy and broadband would be depreciated.

But I don't think it would be smart for holders to sell now, right at the moment when the recently integrated energy business is just starting to pick up. The performance and margins are already pretty encouraging and there's still a lot of cross-selling potential among the company's existing customer base besides potential new customers.
