Re Turnbull's full story, I have indeed read his autobiography which details much more than how he entered politics. Forget the ALP, his wife Lucy was very much more important and so too his time with Kerry Packer.
Prior to Turnbull's replacement of the totally discredited and completely incompetent Tony Abbott I used to occasionally exchange emails with Turnbull - he actually tried to defend Abbott from the mountain of issues I raised, albeit unconvincingly.
IMO Turnbull's assessment and depiction of Rupert Murdoch and his Evil Empire are spoton. The report attributed to Sam Newman today in The Australian is a classic demonstration of what Turnbull alleges of Murdoch's obsequious employees.
