    How interesting. A first response would be that if rocks are permeable to water there'll be permeable to CO2 as well... But much of this sort of thing is counter-intuitive. Another green angle for using CO2 would be that it would obviate the need for simply burying it (as is being contemplated) as an unwanted greenhouse gas.
