Interestingly, i have met in the last 6 months 2 very different people who have both become extremely wealthy by starting 2 very different business's.
The first one was from Queensland in his early 40's, left school at 14 years of age and got a job as a labourer for a concreter/grano worker.
He now owns multiple properties, several agitator trucks and several concrete pumps and employed 13 men until last year he had had a gutful of employing non performing ungrateful blokes so shut down the business for a more relaxed life.
The second bloke was late 50's from WA & left school at 14 years of age with his only attribute being a very logical brain and heaps of drive.
He got a job with a computer company and now owns his own computer software company.
The common factor being that they were both poorly educated, left school at 14 because they hated it, had huge drive and ambition & became extremely wealthy. No university and no Hecs fees and no liability on their parents and neither were Baby Boomers.
It can be done with plenty of ambition and hard work but that work ethic has sadly diminished over the last 20 or so years.
