Different eras but I fully agree with your sentiments.
It's pretty simple for mine, you play the cards your dealt and when boomers were starting out there was no money, no government safety net, no nothing.
The thing that amazes me is that the generations past who come in for all sorts of criticism moved half way around the world for a better life yet today's argument is centred around not being able to buy a house in a 'preferred' area.
Well... move then!----change your preferred lifestyle or miss out!
Do a trade or something!, make your own coffee and you'll have a house before you know it.
