But the point that Snooker was making in his post I think is that for many of the Arab countries, the only source of information they have is the party line and it is often very, very wrong and with little relation to the truth.

And if this is the case (which it is) - then is not the diet they get of rabid, anti-Israeli news also likley to be similarly biased and patently false?

And if so, is it any small wonder the Arabs in the street has such a twisted and perverted sense of the mechanics of the Israeli/Palestinian dispute?
