Something about Darcies for those who are interseted in Darcies. Quoting a geo "Darcies are the units that permeability is measured in. Ususally a good sandstone reservoir has a few hundred milli-darcies, it is not unknown for sands to go to a few thousand milli-darcies (hence darcies). But you can get flow from a hard deep sand reservoir with only 40 milli-darcies. What was the depth of the reservoir? I recall it being around 2000m which would make a ripper of a reservoir if it had 2 darcies permeability, but I doubt very much that the sandstone would be able to support the lithostatic pressure of 2000m of rock above it, if it had such a huge permeability, in fact I would say it was nearly impossible."
