Thanks for the comments plough and skint. Most useful discussion. I also bought around 250,000 shares at circa 4c. I have spoken to the company several times and found them to be very helpful in so far as they are able to be. I get a comfortable feeling talking to them; no bullsh*t, they just tell it like it is. But one thing comes over very clearly from the conversations I have had with them - they really believe in their product.
As far as selling out goes, I think they're in a good position. They have the production (and the value of their "farm" from has gone up significantly), they can produce Coramsine themselves. After the recent deal, they have the finance to survive up to and through Phase 11.
I would like to get a cross sectional view of a range of drugs that are brought to production, and I would not be surprised to find that Coramsine is one of the cheapest to bring to develop. I also wouldn't be surprised to find that it compares extremely well on the "sideffects" side.
So in my view, whilst the risks are plain to see, Solbec is a very good gamble!! But, as they say, "do your own research"; I'm only an amateur, and I've been very wrong before.
